Adobe Creative Cloud is becoming essential for a lot of students. The software can be difficult to begin with, so this series aims to give quick rundowns of the most essential programs. If you haven’t already, check out our blogs on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Last on our list are Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects. These are both video-editing software, but with very different purposes. Because of the scope of these programs, we’ll only deal with their absolute basic uses. Let’s get right into it!

Premier Pro

Premier Pro is a video-editing application used by professionals across the world. It’s even used in the production of major Hollywood films, such as Deadpool.

Despite its capabilities, Premier Pro is a fairly easy program to use. With it, you can splice video and audio clips together and apply filters to make your films run smoothly. There is much more to the program than this, but those are the absolute basics.

After Effects

After Effects is a significantly more complex program with many uses. It lets you create titles, apply a variety of special effects, and utilize its built-in simulation effects. It’s also capable of animation, though that isn’t its primary use. This is definitely not an exhaustive list of the application’s capabilities, but it’s a start.

Hopefully this series has given you a better idea of the essential Adobe Creative Cloud programs and when to use them. You can get Adobe Creative Cloud for over 60% off at OnTheHub.com.
